The Repository Attena the Fight Against Covid- 19

Abstract

This article describes the Repositório Institucional. Coleção digital. Disseminação da informação. UFPE. Covid-19.process of planning and implementing the Subcommunities "Covid-19 Institutional Memory" and "Covid-19 Scientific Production" in Attena, the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Pernambuco, during the development of the Project "Attena in combating Covid-19”, which aims to gather the results of research projects, as well as non-scientific materials related to COVID-19 in the Institution's Repository. The research also reports the process of mapping, analysis, selection, cataloging and insertion of digital objects by the Sector Library of the Health Sciences Center, at the Federal University of Pernambuco, in the Subcommunities. Therefore, this study has an exploratory methodological bias and used as a data collection procedure the minutes of meetings, project reports and a mapping spreadsheet of publications made available by the Health Sciences Center. From May to December 2020 , the sector library of the Health Sciences Center preliminarily selected 56 news about publications involving Covid-19, of these, 13 publications met the selection criteria stipulated by the Project, 8 publications, the authors sent the signed deposit authorization term and the material was made available in the Institution's Repository. The creation of such collections provided the institution's researchers with an increase in the reach and visibility of scientific productions on Covid-19, as Attena has complied with international technical indexing protocols, allowing its contents in international repositories and search engines are represented.
